If sync lag exceeds 90s for 5 minutes, page the platform rotation before investigating.
First fifteen minutes
- Confirm blast radius in the sync lag dashboard, per region.
- Freeze schema migrations from the deploy channel.
- Post the holding update in #status within four minutes.
Escalation
Platform rotation, then Tobias, then the VP on the incident bridge. Customer comms only after the second update.
